Florence LeBrun Kamszik R.N., age 88, of Easton, beloved wife of William Kamszik, passed away Monday, April 18, 2011, at Bridgeport Hospital. Florence was born in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Pacific and Rose LeBrun and has resided in Easton since 1978. She was a graduate of St. Augustine's School, Central High School and Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1944, were she was a life member – Alumnae I & II. Florence was a Eucharistic Minister at Notre Dame of Easton Church, being one of the first and for over 25 years. She retired as Public Health District Supervisor for the Bridgeport Health Department. Florence was past president of the Public Health Nursing Association Board of Directors of Easton, past vice-president of "Siren – Aides" Easton Volunteer Fire Co. No. 1 and past president of the Easton Seniors. In addition to her husband, survivors include her beloved children, William T. Kamszik of Cary, NC, Sally Rinaldi and husband Dan of Cheshire, Nancy Atchue and husband Earl of Paxton, MA and Michael J. Kamszik of Easton, seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, at 10:00 a.m., meeting directly in Notre Dame of Easton Church, with the Liturgy of the Word. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call Wednesday, from 4 to 8:00 p.m. in the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull.
