Frances Butera Wilson, age 97, formerly of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Bridgeport patrolman George F. Wilson, Sr., passed away Sunday, February 6, 2011, in Cambridge Manor, Fairfield. Frances was predeceased by three children, Gary W. Wilson, Emily Corazzelli, and Carol Vecchione, four grandchildren, baby Patricia Bragulat, baby James Bragulat, baby Kathleen Wilson, and Mark Vecchione, a brother and sisters, Louis, Ann and Rose, two sons-in-law, James Bragulat and Frank Corazzelli. Survivors include her devoted children, Nancy Bragulat of Easton, George F. Wilson, Jr., and wife Sabina Wilson of Bridgeport, and Thomas R. Wilson of Florida, a sister Mary Decker of California, 14 grandchildren, Noreen, Lisa, and Paula Vecchione, Thomas, Richard, Michael, Bruce, Gary, and Matthew Wilson, Mary Francis and Frank Corazzelli, Joseph and David Wilson, and Nancy Reyes, a son-in-law, Paul Vecchione of Stratford, numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00am from the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull, and at 12:00p.m. in St. Andrew Church, Bridgeport, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call Friday after 9:00a.m.
