IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Francis Michael
Lacerenza Jr
June 20, 1961 – September 9, 2025
Francis Michael Lacerenza, jr. of Stratford, CT, beloved son of the late Frank Michael Lacerenza & Theresa Maslowski Lacerenza, has entered into eternal rest with our Lord.
The fourth of seven children, Frankie carved his own path at an early age. After graduating from Darien High School, Frank served as an apprentice at his father's business, Frankie's TV, in Stamford, Connecticut. He proved to be a quick study & went on to excel in all things electro-mechanical in nature, ultimately defining his career path by specializing in large & small engine modification, restoration & repair.
Beginning in his youth, Frankie was an outdoorsman who loved living off the land and enjoyed the sports of trapping, hunting & fishing. He was extremely well-read on many subjects, his favorite being history. He would engage others in lively discussions while showcasing his extensive antique collections. An active member of the Connecticut Antique Machinery Association (CAMA), one could find Frankie grinning ear to ear as he described & demonstrated the intricacies of steam and gas combustion engines to audiences young & old.
Although Frank remained a bachelor, his love for family was unparalleled. He is survived by five sisters, one brother, eight nieces & nephews: Deborah (Charles) Raymond of GA, Catherine (Joseph, Krystal, Kim, Laureen) Manjuck of NC, Janine Foose (Michele St.Pierre) of PA, Christine (Jack) Palmer of FL, Renee (Matthew, Lucas , Nicholas) Taormina of CT, and one brother, William Lacerenza (Martin, Ryan) of PA.
Frank's kind heart, gentle soul, unlimited generosity, & jovial smile were just a few of his signature hallmarks. Whenever possible, he would visit loved ones simply to drop off a special gift. Never one to look for recognition or accolades, everything he did was heartfelt. His love & loyalty to his whole family were steadfast. Frankie brought incredible joy to all fortunate enough to know him. We will love him forever & always.
