Francis J. (Frank) Vincze, age 65 of Fairfield, beloved husband of Gail Mastronardi Vincze, and devoted father of Frank Jr. and Martin, passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife and sons on Saturday, June 22, 2013 in St. Vincent's Medical Center. Frank was born in Bridgeport, son of the late Stephen and Mary Keller Vincze, and was an environmental consultant. Frank was a veteran of the Vietnam War, proudly serving with the Marines as a Sergeant from 1964-1968. He was a member of DAV (Disabled American Veterans), the Marine Corps League, and was the recipient of three Purple Hearts. In addition to his beloved wife Gail and two devoted sons; Frank Jr. and Martin, both of Fairfield, Frank is also survived by two brothers and one sister; Robert Vincze of Shelton, Stephen (Pete) Vincze of Stratford, and Jeanette Kuhn of Shelton, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers and three sisters; Mark Vincze, John Vincze, Donna Lee Vincze, Elayne Vincze, and Carol Twigg. Funeral services will be private with full military honors.
