Franco Todisco, age 78, of Bridgeport, went to heaven on Thursday, March 29, 2007, at St. Vincent's Medical Center, after a long battle with heart disease. He was born in Italy on November 9, 1928 to Giovanni and Rosaria Todisco. He was the beloved husband of Margaret Rendo Todisco for 53 years, and was the owner of Frank's Cabinet Shop for over 50 years, and also served in the Italian Carabinieri. Mr. Todisco loved his cats and enjoyed fishing and the outdoors and was past scoutmaster for boy scout troop 59. Survivors in addition to his wife include a son Robert and his wife Carol of Shelton, two grandsons Michael and David, four great grandchildren, a sister Lilliana of Italy, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends are invited to attend a Mass Christian Burial Saturday at 11:00 am meeting directly in St. Charles Church, East Main Street, Bridgeport. Entombment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery Garden Mausoleum, Stratford. There will be no prior calling hours.
