Frank Louis DeLorenzo Sr. of Trumbull passed peacefully into eternal life on Thursday November 24th. Born October 25, 1926 in Portchester NY, he was a resident of the Bridgeport area for the last 75 years. The son of Josephine and Louis Lorenzo, he was one of four children, predeceased by his three sisters: Rose Coppolla, Minnie DeMaine, and Marie Ferretti. A devoted husband and father his family was the joy of his life. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Elizabeth (Uzarski) DeLorenzo, two sons and daughters-in-law: Frank Jr and Elaine DeLorenzo, Dennis and Doreen DeLorenzo; four grandchildren: Christopher and his wife Kristen, Larissa, Rachele and Jason DeLorenzo; and two great-grandchildren: Jacob and Gia, as well as a number of cousins, nieces and nephews. A veteran of the US Navy, he served in the South Pacific during the Second World War, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Park City Council. He worked as a supervisor at Norden Systems in Norwalk. An avid Giants and Yankees fan he enjoyed watching sports. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00am meeting directly in St. Theresa Church Trumbull with a Mass of Christian Burial.
