Genevieve Gunger Randall, age 101, a resident of St. Joseph's Manor, Trumbull and beloved wife of the late Louis Randall, died Friday, November 30, 2007, at the Manor. Mrs. Randall was born in Bridgeport, daughter of Ambrose and Anna Tomko Gunger and had lived most of her life in Trumbull. One of eight children, she was predeceased by her three brothers and four sisters. A homemaker, she was a former secretary for the General Electric Company. Mrs. Randall was a member of the Long Hill Garden Club and had volunteered for many years at St. Joseph's Manor. Survivors include her loving daughter, Sr. Mark Randall, a Carmelite Sister for the Aged & Infirm, stationed in Boston, a devoted niece, Dorothy Van Tuyl of Richland, Washington, loving nephew, Dr. James Ahearn of Tampa, Florida and several nieces, nephews and their families. Funeral services will be held Monday, at 9:15 a.m. from the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull and at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa Church, Trumbull, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Long Hill Burial Grounds, Trumbull.
