George H. Lawrence Jr., age 50, of Bridgeport, beloved son of Pauline Targonski Lawrence, passed away suddenly Monday, July 21, 2008, at St. Vincent's Medical Center. George was born in Bridgeport and graduated from Bullard – Havens Technical School. He had worked as a tool & die maker for the Pratt – Read Co., and had a love of motorcycling. George was predeceased by his father, George H. Lawrence Sr. and brother, Gregory P. Lawrence. In addition to his beloved mother, he is survived by aunts and uncles, Paul and Lucille Targonski of Stuart, Fl, Margaret McCabe of St. Louis, MO, Mary Lawrence of Stratford and Arlene Bancroft – Billings of Lomboc, CA: also numerous cousins. Funeral services will be held Saturday, at 9:15 a.m. from the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull and at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, 497 Second Hill Lane, Stratford, with a Mass of Christian Burial.
