Obituary

George Olsovsky, age 97 of Suffield and formerly Monroe died Sunday, May 25, 2008. He was the beloved husband of the late Ann Rohan Olsovsky. Born in Bridgeport he was a resident of Monroe over 40 years before moving to Suffield. Mr. Olsovsky was a retired production engineer for Avco-Lycoming. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #19 in Monroe, the Monroe Exchange Club and a founding member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Survivors include his loving daughters, Katherine Oneglia and her fiancé Jay Trevorrow of Winchester, Jacqueline Marien and her husband Bertrand of Suffield, and Patricia Bossler and her husband David of Granby, six grandchildren, Christopher Oneglia and his wife Rhonda, Kara Oneglia, Jay and Colin Marien and Matthew and Katherine Bossler, great grandson Jace Oneglia and many nieces and nephews. His brothers Andrew and John and sisters Mary, Ann, Elizabeth and Veronica predeceased him. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30am at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 466 Elm Street, Monroe, CT 06468. Interment will follow in Monroe Center Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
