Geraldine T. (Gerry) Spillane, age 82, of Bridgeport, died Monday, April 6, 2009, at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Gerry was born in Bridgeport, April 7, 1926, daughter of the late Daniel and Julia Phillips Spillane. She retired from the accounting department of the Dictaphone Corporation. Survivors include a brother, John Spillane of Virginia Beach, VA, two sisters, Peggy Pater of Lakeland, FL and Marie Rose of Bridgeport, a sister-in-law, Jacqueline Spillane of North Branford, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, two great great nieces and two great great nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers Daniel and Thomas Spillane and a sister, Cornelia Dominguez. She was deeply loved by her family and will forever be missed. Funeral services will be held Monday, at 9:30 a.m. from the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull and at 10:00 a.m. at St. Andrew Church, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery. Friends may call Monday, 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m..
