Gertrude Margaret Reilly Ryan, age 88, beloved widow of Alfred Loring Ryan, entered into rest eternal April 22, 2007. Mrs. Ryan, a lifelong Connecticut resident was born in Bridgeport March 13, 1919, daughter of the late William and Katherine Gay Reilly. She had previously lived in Bridgeport and Trumbull and was a longtime communicant of St. Theresa Church, Trumbull. Survivors include her daughters and their spouses, Katherine G. and Vagn Jordorf of Denmark and Phyllis R. and Robert H. Rohloff of Bethany, her brother William Reilly of Avon, three grandchildren, Jennifer Linnemann of Denmark, Kurt Rohloff of Cambridge, MA and Holly Strate of Erie, CO, three great granddaughters, Rebecca, Ella and Hannah Linnemann of Denmark and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a sister Marie McConaughy. Funeral services will be held Friday, at 10:00 a.m. from the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull and at 10:30 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford.
