Harlan (Tim) H. Harris Jr., age 66, of Trumbull, beloved husband of Sally A. Wynne Harris, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Harlan was born in Bridgeport, son of the late Harlan H. Sr. and Marion Young Harris. In addition to his devoted wife, he is survived by his beloved children, two sons, William H. Harris of Trumbull and Sean P. Doherty of Stratford, his daughter Shannon C. Doherty of Saratoga Springs, NY, sister, Merry Lynn Pelletier and husband Paul of Trumbull, nephew, Jon Pelletier and wife Stephanie of CA,  niece, Cara Pelletier and husband Sean Nolan of Milford, mother-in-law, Mary Lou Wynne of Trumbull, sister-in-law, Winnie Wynne and daughter Mary Kate Wynne of Milford, brother-in-law, Jack Wynne and wife Janet of Trumbull, their children, Jackson, Conor, and Lizzie Wynne, a godson Michael Veno; also many dear friends and cousins. Tim was predeceased by his first wife Carol Kursch Harris.  Tim attended Norwalk Community College and retired from Stop & Shop in Wilton. He enjoyed many vacations with his family to both Aruba and Maine, spending his time on the beaches reading and taking in the sun. He will be missed as well by his beloved canine companions Mister and Max. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m., in the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull. Interment will follow in Park Cemetery, Bridgeport.
