Harry Hasler Miller, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2008 He was born Dec 11, 1921, to late Edith Bessie Hasler and Harry Risch Miller in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. He attended Durham School for Boys where he rowed in the Henley Regatta. He moved to the United States at the age of 17, and was naturalized when he joined the Army. He attended business school and worked for Pan Am for a few years before he started his own paint manufacturing company, Miller Protective Coatings and subsequently, Chatterson Enterprises, both Aviation related businesses. He and his ex-wife Janet Miller brought their four children up in Redding, CT and then moved to Westport area in the early 70's. Harry loved to travel and consequently geared his business to support traveling. He loved the people of the world and saw no geographic borders in life. He is survived by his four children: Dickinson Miller of Wash DC, Thomas Miller of Brattleboro, VT, Jane Miller of Guilford, CT and Harry H Miller, JR of Craftsbury Common, Vermont, and three grandchildren, Sarah and Jackson Miller of Craftsbury Common, Vermont and Zoe Miller of Guilford, CT.
