Helen E. Kalaky Mengold, age 82 of Monroe died Sunday, October 26, 2008 in St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport. She was the beloved wife of the late Walter Mengold. Born in Stratford she has been a Monroe resident over fifty years. Mrs. Mengold was retired from General Electric. Survivors include her loving daughter Linda B. Manjoney and her husband Vincent of Stratford, grandson Shawn Manjoney and his wife Melissa, great grandson Gabriel Thomas Manjoney, sister Agnes Mengold of Monroe, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by eleven brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9:00am from the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull and at 10:00am in St. Stephen Church with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call Tuesday 4-8pm.
