Howard S. Rowan III, age 56 of Monroe, beloved husband of Nancy Kelemencky Rowan, passed away Monday, October 26, 2015 in St. Vincent's Medical Center. Howard was born in Bridgeport loving son of Patricia Healy Rowan and Howard S. Rowan Jr. of Shelton, and was raised in Trumbull before moving to Monroe twenty-three years ago. He was a graduate of St. Theresa School, St. Joseph High School, class of 1978 and attended Sacred Heart University. Howard retired as part owner of the Rural Gas Company, an avid sports fan and loved to ski. In addition to his wife and parents survivors include; a brother Richard J. Rowan and wife Ann of Monroe, and several nieces and nephews. His sister Pamela Lee Rowan predeceased him. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00a.m., in the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Newtown. Friends may call Friday from 4p.m. to 8p.m., in the funeral home.
