Irene Chahey Vadas, age 99 formerly of Trumbull and Norwalk died Monday, November 15, 2010 in Connecticut Health of Southport. Born in Norwalk she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Mary Chahey, and wife of the late James Vadas. Survivors include her son James Vadas Jr. and his wife Margaret of Fairfield, her daughter Barbara I. Vadas of Trumbull and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Margaret Berggen, Helen Wilkins and Elizabeth Hurley and brothers Joseph and Stephen Chahey. Friends may attend graveside services on Friday, November 19, 2010 at 11am meeting directly in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 1056 Daniels Farm Road, Trumbull.
