Obituary

Jack Kavulich, age 87, of Trumbull, devoted husband of Florence R. Noble Kavulich, R.N., passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016 in his home. Jack was born in Scranton, PA, son of the late John and Anna Kincel Kavulich and was a Fairfield resident from 1960-2015 prior to moving to Trumbull. He was a graduate of Roger Ludlowe High School, retired as manager of the meat department for First National Stores and was a member of Local 371 United Food and Commercial Workers. Survivors in addition to his beloved wife of sixty-six years include his children, Carol DeLuca and husband Joe of Trumbull, Jo-Ann Adami of West Hartford, Jack Kavulich and wife Deb of Oregon, and Daniel Kavulich and wife Heather of North Carolina, a brother Arnie Kavulich of Trumbull, nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter Lori Manns, and a sister Anna Kavulich. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:00a.m., meeting directly in the Faith Center Chapel of St. Pius X Church, 834 Brookside Drive, Fairfield, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Jack's memory to the charity of your choice.
