Jacquelyn B. Westcott Taylor R.N., age 80 of Trumbull, beloved wife of Frederick H. Taylor, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2011 in Maefair Health Center. Jacquelyn was born in Carbondale, PA, daughter of the late Cyril and Elizabeth Butler Westcott, and was a resident of Bridgeport most of her life. She was a graduate of Bassick High School, class of 1947, St. Vincent's School of Nursing and retired as a registered nurse from St. Vincent's Medical Center. Jacquelyn was a member of the former Bethany Congregational Church, Bridgeport, and a member of their Women's Guild, presently a member of Unity Hill Congregational Church and their choir and a member of the Lake Forest Association for over 50 years. Survivors in addition to her husband include; four devoted children, Bonnie LaLiberte and husband Dan of Naugatuck, Frederick Taylor and wife Cheryl of Granby, Steven Taylor and wife Mary of Bridgeport, and Amy Pomerenk and husband Gary of Naugatuck, eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Joanne Polhemus and Dorothy Santos. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00am in the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull.
