James J. Ahern Jr., age 64 of Miami Lakes, Florida died Saturday, January 28, 2012. Born in Bridgeport, he was beloved son of Consuelo Ahern and the late James J. Ahern Sr.  In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, Jennifer Ahern Dodson and her husband Craig, James Ahern, and Christopher Ahern and his wife Jennifer, grandchildren, McKenna and Chase Ahern, Elizabeth and Lily Dodson, his sister, Connie Ahern. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00am in St. Andrew Church, 435 Anton St. Bridgeport with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
