James W. Gromiller, age 86 of Easton died Friday, January 12, 2018 in his home. He was the husband of the late Gertrude "Trudy" Fox Gromiller. Born in Hollidaysburg, PA he was the son of the late James F. and Aveline Filtz Gromiller. James retired after 35 years as an auditor with General Electric. He was a graduate of Penn State University, an avid Penn State Nittany Lions fan and season ticket holder, and a member of Alpha Sigma Phi. Survivors include his children, James P. Gromiller and his wife Maureen of Hollidaysburg, PA, Nancy G. Newhams of Virginia Beach, VA, Andrew B. Gromiller and his wife Christine of McAllister, MT and Matthew J. Gromiller of Easton, 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 meeting directly at Notre Dame of Easton Church with a Mass of Christian Burial.
