James MacKenzie Healy, age 67 of Fairfield, died Sunday, December 14, 2014 at the Connecticut Hospice in Branford. He was the beloved husband of Joan Draper Healy. Born in Bridgeport James was the son of the late Frank Healy Jr and Eleanor MacKenzie Healy. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Franklin Pierce University, served in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves and worked as a lab technician most recently at Waterbury Hospital. In addition to his wife he is survived by his stepsons, Frederic and Burtch Drake, his brother Frank Healy and wife Pam of Easton, Connecticut, his nieces Rebecca Guiditta and Sarah Healy and his nephews Frank Healy and Jason Healy. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother William "Greg" Healy. Interment was private in the Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at a date to be determined later at St. John's Episcopal Church, 768 Fairfield Avenue, Bridgeport.
