Jane C. Judge Vitale R.N., age 91 a lifelong Bridgeport resident died Monday, October 18, 2010 in her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph P. Vitale. Mrs. Vitale was a graduate of the St. Mary's School of Nursing. She began her career as a registered nurse in Waterbury and later retired from St. Vincent's Medical Center. Survivors include her loving daughters, Susan Sjolund and her husband Roy of Hamden, and Karen Stanford and her husband Joseph of Bristol, five grandchildren, Heather and Ashley Sjolund, Lindsay Gagnon and her husband Jason, Michael and Kaitlin Stanford, great grandson Aidan Gagnon. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her brother Vincent Judge. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:15am from the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull and at 11:00am in St. Patrick's Church, Bridgeport with a Mass of Christian Burial.
