Janet "Grammy" Daniels, 72, passed away peacefully in her home with her family surrounding her, after a valiant battle with ovarian cancer. Janet devoted her life to serving others with a nursing career that spanned over 35 years. She was loved and respected by her family friends and colleagues and will be sadly missed by all. Janet, daughter of the late Gordon and Alice (Arnold) Murgatroyd, was prececeased by her husband Lowell J. Daniels Sr., a son Lowell J.Daniels Jr., and a granddaughter Lisa Michelle Spinazzola. Survivors include her son Michael L Daniels or Milford, four daughters, Kellye Wasberg and her husband Chris and Lauren Summers and her husband Bill, and Jaime Daniels all of Milford, CT, and Karyn Wade of Monroe, CT. Also her beloved grandchildren, Alison & Andrea Spinazzola, Aimee Larson, Billy & Justin Summers, Sara, Michael & Christie Daniels, Raechel & Allegra Mirrione, and Buddy & Savannah Wade. Also her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Krasny, Victoria Anton and ShawnTyler Stramski. She is also survived by two brothers Gordon B. Murgatroyd, and Arnold Murgatroyd and his wife Marie, two nieces and a nephew. Friends may call on Tuesday from 5:30-7:30pm at the Redgate - Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am, in St Theresa Church, 5301 Main Street, Trumbull.
