Janet Sprague Ortner, age 83, of Micco, Florida, beloved wife of Ed Ortner, passed away September 7, 2017. Janet was born in New Haven, daughter of the late Roswell and Arlene Sprague. She retired as a secretary for St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford. In addition to her husband, Janet is survived by her loving children, son Scott Loper and wife Tina of Micco, FL and Ginni Baron and husband David of Shelton, two granddaughters, Heather Verlingo and Michaela Tripp. She was predeceased by her beloved son, Gregg W.
