Obituary

Jean R. Fusaro, age 100 of Trumbull passed away Friday November 1, 2013 at St. Joseph's Manor. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward J. Fusaro. Born in Utica, NY, to Sam and Angela Caputo, she was raised in Greenwich and graduated Greenwich High School.  Mrs. Fusaro lived in Stamford until 1982 when she and Ed moved to Carmel Ridge and lived there until 2009. She worked in the payroll department at Petrol fuel. She was a volunteer at St. Joseph's Manor, a local artist, a member of the Golden Follies and enjoyed traveling to many places including the Shrines of Lourdes and Fatima. She was a member of the choir and was past president of the Rosary Society at Sacred Heart church in Stamford. After moving to Trumbull she was also a member St. Stephen's choir and a lay Carmelite. Survivors include her loving daughters, Marcellene Berry of California and Claudette Giblin and her husband Frank of Fairfield, her sister Mel Miro of Westport, grandchildren, Bill and David Berry and Jeffrey and Brian Giblin, great grandchildren, Michelle Marie, Jackson and Kendall Berry. She was predeceased by her son-in-law William Berry, brother Alfred Caputo and sister Eleanor Nardozza. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00am in St. Stephen's Church Trumbull with a Mass of Christian Burial. Private interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Darien. Friends may call Friday morning 8:30 – 9:30am in the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull. Her family wishes to thank the nurses the staff on the 3rd floor B wing at St. Joseph's Manor for all the care and compassion Jean received.
