Jean Merritt Tones of Trumbull died after a long illness Saturday, March 17, 2007 in her daughter's home in Huntington with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Clifford I. Tones. Born in Bridgeport she resided in Trumbull over 35 years. She is survived by her loving children, daughter Nancy Melson and her husband Gerald of Huntington, son Douglas F. Tones and his wife Anne and granddaughters Bridget and Dianna all of Moneta,VA , her nieces, nephews, and cousins and her dear friends the Stiller Family, Susan and Bob and their beloved children Gregory, Jeffrey and John, who she loved and adored. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30am in the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull. Interment will follow in Long Hill Burial Grounds.
