Jemma M. Veckerelli age 94 died Thursday January 5, 2012 in The Village at Brookfield Common. She was the daughter of the late Dominic and Madeline Mastroni Veckerelli. Jemma was a resident of Fairfield and Bridgeport before moving to Brookfield. She was a retired secretary employed by Remington Arms. She was an active life long parishioner of Our Lady of the Assumption Church and a volunteer at Cambridge Manor. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brother Anthony and sisters Rose and Carrie, nephew Richard, and cousin Mario. Survivors include her nephew Ronald Caro and his wife Arlene, nieces Madalyn Sheehy and Lucy Levesque and William, niece in law Carol Veckerelli, and her cousin and dear friend Dolores Vecchiarelli, grand nieces and nephews and great grand nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:00am in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 545 Stratfield Road, Fairfield with a Mass of Christian Burial.
