Joan M.Filia, age 90, of Shelton, passed away January 16, 2025, at Griffin Hospital. Joan was born in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Michael J. and Mary Lucas Filia. She was also predeceased by her sister Arline Corning. Survivors include a niece Alexandra Corning and husband John, nephews Michael Corning and wife MaryBeth, Sherman Corning and Scott Corning and wife Nicole.
