Joan E. Lapke, age 69, of the Black Rock section of Bridgeport, passed away Friday March 29, 2013, at St. Vincent's Medical Center. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, George (Ken) Lapke, a daughter Grace, and her mother and father Howard and Augusta Heske Stevens. Joan was a retired cafeteria employee for the Fairfield Board of Education. Survivors include her loving children, Laurie A. Lapke of Bridgeport, Jean E. Papageorge of Fairfield and Kenneth J. Lapke and wife Heather of Bristol, a brother Robert H. Stevens and wife Judy of Janesville, WI, mother-in-law Grace E. Herr Lapke and brother-in-law Thomas M. Lapke both of Bridgeport, eight grandchildren, two nieces and one nephew. Friends are invited to attended graveside services Wednesday, at 11:00 am, in Lakeview Cemetery, 885 Boston Ave., Bridgeport, with the Rev.
