Joen C. Paprocki, age 79 of Trumbull, beloved wife of George M. Paprocki, died peacefully in the company of her family on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford. Joen was born in Bridgeport on October 26, 1932, to the late Joseph and Judith Ciglar. In addition to her parents, Joen was predeceased by her daughter Beth Paprocki of Logan UT, and Joen's siblings. Survivors in addition to her beloved husband of 56 years include their beloved daughter and son-in-law Carol and Jim Cantwell, two granddaughters Casey and Kelly of San Diego, CA as well as many beloved nieces, nephews and Mother's Club close friends. After graduating from Katherine Gibbs in Boston, MA class of 1951, Joen began a career as an executive secretary with McGraw Hill Publishers in New York City, until her marriage in 1956. She then enjoyed her new career as a most devoted, loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00am meeting directly in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 220 Shelton Road, Trumbull, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Inurnment will follow at St. Monica's Mausoleum in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 3 to 6pm in the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull.
