John A. (Jack) Howe, age 89, of Bridgeport, beloved husband of the late Marion Cody Howe, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2015. Jack was the son of the late Edward and Mary McCarthy Howe and had been a lifelong Bridgeport resident. He operated John A. Howe Agency, Real Estate and Insurance, was a Naval Veteran of World War II, member of the Greater Bridgeport Realtors Association and the Lake Forest Association. Survivors include his devoted children, David C. Howe and his companion Elizabeth O'Neil of Bridgeport, and Barbara Thomas and her husband Wallace of Monroe and two grandchildren, Allison Thomas of Brooklyn, NY and Emily Thomas of Monroe, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother William Howe, and a sister Rita Auger. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:30 a.m. meeting directly at St. Andrew Church, 435 Anton Street, Bridgeport, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Mountain Grove of Easton Cemetery. There will be no prior calling hours.
