John C. Kanapka, age 92, of Trumbull, beloved husband of the late Natalie J. Kanapka, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at Maefair Health Care Center.  John was also predeceased by his first wife Vera Kanapka. Born in Bridgeport, son of the late Charles and Mary Subach Kanapka, John retired as an inventory clerk for Avco – Lycoming. He was a member with his wife in the Avco – Lycoming Retiree Club, serving many years on the board of directors. John was an Army – Air Corp Veteran of World War II. Survivors include three sisters, Florence Vestyck of Trumbull, Julia Vengien and Alice Chiora, both of PA and several nieces and nephews. He was stepfather to nine, grandfather to thirteen and great grandfather to three. Funeral services for John and Natalie will be held Saturday, at 9:00 a.m., meeting directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main Street, Trumbull, with a Mass of Christian Burial.
