John L. Mocker III, age 62 of Trumbull passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Maureen Hough Mocker. Born in Stamford, he was the son of John L. Mocker Jr. and Dorothy Ferris Mocker. He was a graduate of the University of Connecticut and a Triangle Fraternity Alum. John was an account executive for the John M. Glover Insurance Agency. He was a Boy Scout Leader for Troop 65 Trumbull and helped many to obtain their Eagle Scout. John and his family are members of the Gaelic American Club and frequent visitors of Fayerweather Yacht Club. John was a proud family man of great integrity, honesty, and charity. He was very caring and well liked within the community and had many friends. He loved the New York Giants, UConn basketball, and vacations with his family. He truly enjoyed life and his puppy Maggie. Survivors in addition to his wife, Maureen include his loving children, Colleen and Jack, brother Michael, brother-in law, Bob, nephews and niece, Matthew and Haley Mocker and Ryan and Patrick Hough. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30am meeting directly in Christ the King Church, Trumbull with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow Long Hill Burial Grounds.
