John Francis Recktenwald Jr., age 50 of Danbury died Thursday, November 13, 2008 in Danbury Hospital. Born in Riverside, California, he was the beloved son of Virginia Barske Recktenwald of Bridgeport. He is survived by his mother, two sisters, Ann Marie Reagan of Danbury and Mary Grasso of Southwick, MA, four nephews, Michael, Joshua, Zachary and Chris and his grandniece, Sophia. He was predeceased by his father John Sr. and brother Thomas. Funeral services will be held Monday at 9:00am directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main Street Trumbull with a Mass of Christian Burial.
