John J. Salamon Jr. age 61 of Bridgeport died Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Danbury Regional Hospice. Born in Bridgeport he was the son of the late John J. Salamon Sr. and Catherine Stonaha Salamon. John worked for Allied Signal and Avco-Lycoming during his career. He was very actively involved in his Church. He loved horse racing, off track betting, and salt water fishing. He is survived by his loving son, John Salamon of Bridgeport, his grandson and pride and joy, Greyson, and his son John's mother, Virginia Biedermann. Friends may call Tuesday morning from 9:00am – 11:00am in the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull. A Prayer service will begin at 11:00am in the funeral home. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. A lunch reception will follow.
