John A. Tryjada, of Trumbull, beloved husband of Vera Yaremich Tryjada, passed away December 30, 2012. John was born in the Ukraine and was a retired building contractor. He was a devoted member of the Holy Protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, where he sang in the church's choir. John was an award winning raiser and keeper of racing pigeons. In addition to his beloved wife of sixty years Vera, he is survived by his loving children, his son, John M. Tryjada and wife Lynette of Seymour and his daughter, Elaine A. Tryjada of Killingworth, five cherished grandchildren, Kristy, Danielle, Johlyn, John and Alyssa; also his late brother Michael's wife Anna and a niece and nephew, all of the Ukraine. Funeral services were held in the Holy Protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, 255 Barnum Ave., Bridgeport, CT 06608, with interment in the Long Hill Burial Grounds, Trumbull.
