John J. Yaremich, of Trumbull, beloved husband of the late Gloria D. Pecor Yaremich, died Tuesday, April 8, 2008, at St. Vincent's Medical Center. John was born in Bridgeport, son of the late Jacob A. and Pauline Plason Yaremich and was a city resident until moving to Trumbull nine years ago. John was president and owner of Yaremich Reality, a business he and his late brother Peter Yaremich developed and operated. He had a career which included delivery of ice, coal and oil, a business founded by their father, and handled property management for numerous locations throughout Bridgeport and surroundings areas, also industrial and commercial building. Survivors include two sisters, Vera Tryjada and Barbara Cardinal, both of Trumbull and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by another brother Walter J. Yaremich. Funeral services will be held Saturday, at 10:00 a.m. meeting directly in St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church, Honeyspot Road, Stratford, with the Rev. George Lardas, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in the Long Hill Burial Grounds, Trumbull.
