Joseph G. Busko Jr., age 79 of Easton, peacefully entered eternal rest on Friday, January 25, 2008, with his loving children by his side. Born in Bridgeport to the late Joseph and Anna Busko, Joseph was a graduate of Warren Harding High School, Bridgeport Engineering Institute and The University of Connecticut, School of Mechanical Engineering. Upon graduation, he worked for the Bullard Company as a design engineer. He left Bullards to develop the hydraulic and pneumatic division of Park City Supply Company, eventually forming Park City Fluid Power, Inc. of which he was owner and CEO. He was a past president of the Sales and Purchasing Association of Fairfield County. As one of the founders of the Ernie Kaulbach Pro/Am golf tournament, he spent 25 years raising money for Bridgeport Hospital. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Brooklawn Country Club. He was greatly admired by business associates, friends and family. Joseph was predeceased by his beloved wife, Loretta Readey Busko. Left to cherish his memory are his devoted children and their spouses Marcella Simpson and her husband Robert of Huntington, Kathleen Currivan and her husband Asst. Fire Chief John of Huntington, and Joseph G. Busko III and his fiancée Karen Buck of Milford. In addition to his children, Joseph is survived by his sister Frances Busko Readey of Wallingford and Mary Busko Stiver of San Diego, CA and his niece and nephews. His greatest joy was his six grandchildren, Jessica Busko, Amy Busko, Shannon Busko, Collin Simpson, Ashley Currivan and Lori Currivan. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. from the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in Notre Dame of Easton Catholic Church, with a Mass of Christian Burial, Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Monroe.
