Joseph P. Caserta, age 61, of Trumbull died Wednesday, November 3, 2010 in his home. Born in Bridgeport, he was the beloved son of Louise D'Avanzo Caserta and the late Guiseppe Caserta. He was a longtime Bridgeport resident, received a Master's Degree from Sacred Heart University and had retired after 30 years as a teacher in the Bridgeport School System. Survivors in addition to his mother include his loving sisters, Camille Cervone and her husband Angelo of Monroe and Rose Ann Gluse and her husband Joseph of Huntington and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his father he was predeceased by his brother Donald J. Caserta. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:00am meeting directly in St. Stephen Church, 6948 Main Street, Trumbull with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private.
