Joseph F. Wargo, age 92, of Trumbull, beloved husband of June Sutay Wargo, passed away Sunday, September 2, 2012, at the Rocky Hill Veterans Home. Joseph was born in Bridgeport, son of the late Raymond and Elizabeth Patenaude. He was a World War II veteran serving in both the Marines and Navy, and was a member of the Purple Heart Club. Joseph retired as a security guard for Cheesebrough – Ponds Inc. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 8:15a.m., from the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull and at 9:00a.m., in St. Catherine of Siena Church, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow with full military honors in Nichols Farm Burial Grounds. Friends may call Wednesday from 6:00 – 8:00p.m. in the funeral home.
