Josephine Ann Pescatore, age 88, of Trumbull, entered into eternal rest on Monday, April 2, 2007, at St. Vincent's Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred P. Pescatore and mother of the late Gordon T. and Carol Ann Pescatore. Mrs. Pescatore was born December 14, 1918 in Peckville, PA, daughter of the late John and Katherine Lakatta. She moved to CT after attending high school and college in PA. She was employed at General Electric Co. and later for the Town of Trumbull as a school crossing guard and Read's Department Store. Survivors include a son  Robert J. Pescatore and grandson Robert J. Pescatore Jr, both of Trumbull, a sister Ann Lakatta of Bridgeport and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Edward Lakatta and a sister Catherine Scubelek.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, at 9:45 a.m. from the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull and at 10:30 a.m., in St. Theresa Church, with the Liturgy of the Word. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday, 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
