Joyce Hamilton Barnes, age 78, of Milford, beloved wife of Jeffrey V. McCormick, passed away, Friday, March 15, 2024, in Bridgeport Hospital. She was surrounded by her loving family and friends. Joyce was the daughter of the late William and Helen Linane Hamilton of Trumbull, CT. Joyce dedicated many years of service to community action agencies within the greater Bridgeport area and retired from the Town of Fairfield as a Grant Coordinator. She will be remembered for her love of her family, and was known to many, especially her grandchildren by the beloved nickname "Grand". Survivors, in addition to her husband, include her loving daughters Aimee Haray and husband Brian (who was more like a son to Joyce) of Stratford and Kelley DeMasi of Brookfield. Four cherished grandchildren, Kyle Haray and his partner, Sophia Lester of CA, Caitlyn Haray of Stratford, Joseph DeMasi and Gianna DeMasi both of Brookfield, her favorite nephew Kevin Piscitelli of West Haven, his daughter Arianna Piscitelli of NY, her brother, William Hamilton of MA, and additional nieces. She was predeceased by her sister Arline Piscitelli. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00a.m., meeting directly in St Catherine of Siena Church, 220 Shelton Road, Trumbull.
