Julie Mattar, of Bridgeport, passed away Saturday April 23, 2011, at Bridgeport Hospital. Julie was a lifelong Bridgeport resident and retired as an administrative assistant for Remington Products. Survivors include her beloved sister, Helen Mattar of Bridgeport, sister-in-law, Eleanor Mattar of Stratford, several nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Gus, William and David Mattar and two sisters, Louise Ross and Alice Mattar. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, at 11:00 a.m., in the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull, with the Rev. Fr. John W. Westcott III, officiating.
