Katherine "Kay" Telesha, age 86 of Trumbull, entered into eternal rest Monday, April 23, 2012. Kay was born in Ossining, NY on January 3, 1926 to the late Salvatore and Mary Filiciotto Gullotta. She was predeceased by her loving husband A.J. Ralph Telesha, her brother Charles Gullotta, Sr., her friend and sister-in-law Susan Gullotta, nephew Charles Gullotta, Jr., and great nephew Matthew Gullotta. Survivors include several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and close friends Joey and Debbie Caiola and family. Kay retired from Sikorsky Aircraft and enjoyed many things. She had been a bowler and was Connecticut State Singles Champion in 1970. She enjoyed knitting and playing the organ, which she taught herself to play. In her later years Kay took up paper cutting and left many wonderful pictures for her family and friends to enjoy. She also was a great fan of the UCONN Women's Basketball Team. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00a.m., meeting directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main Street, Trumbull, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private. Friends may call Thursday (TODAY) from 4 to 8:00p.m., in the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull.
