Kathleen Marie Duffy Barry age 64 of Easton entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 2, 2008 at the Carolton Chronic and Convalescent Hospital, Fairfield, Connecticut after a long illness. She was the beloved wife of Hugh J. Barry. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Kathy was the daughter of the late John and Nora Walsh Duffy and had been an Easton resident for over 34 years. Mrs. Barry was a graduate of St. Clare's Nursing School and a Registered Nurse having worked at the Veterans Hospital in Brooklyn. She was a member of the Easton Garden Club, the Black Rock Yacht Club and the Notre Dame of Easton Ladies Council. Kathy enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles, horseracing and spending time with family and friends. She always had a smile on her face and a kind word for all. In addition to her husband she is survived by her four loving children, Kevin Barry and his wife Jennifer of Weston, Connecticut, Hugh Barry of Boston, Massachusetts, Christopher Barry and his wife Ali of Parker, Colorado and Michelle Barry of Boulder, Colorado, grandson Kyle Jonathan Barry, three brothers and their wives, Joseph and Anne Duffy of Lakewood New Jersey, Robert and Barbara Duffy of Bernardsville, New Jersey and George and Sandra Duffy of Brewster, Massachusetts and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 6 at 10:00am directly in Notre Dame of Easton Church with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Middle Village, Queens.
