Kathy Weller Tippett, age 57, of Stratford, beloved wife of David D. Tippett, died Thursday, April 19, 2007, at home with family and friends. Born in Bridgeport, on July 7, 1949, daughter of the late Marjorie and Lawrence Weller, and was a lifelong Connecticut resident. Kathy was a partner at Beacon Financial Group before retiring in 2006. She volunteered with the United Way, and was a leader of bible study group at St. Gabriel's Parish in Milford. Most recently she was a member at Our Lady of Peace Parish in Stratford. She was predeceased by her beloved son David L. Tippett in June 1995, and in addition to her husband she is survived by her devoted daughters and husbands, Stacey and Dave Parker of Stratford, Keri and John Bill of Stratford, Katie and Kevin Poole of Monroe, three grandchildren, Bridget Bill, Kieran Bill, and Grace Parker, two step-grandchildren, Jake Poole and Michael Parker, sisters and brother, Judith Sullivan and Roger of New London, NH, Mary Oldehoff and Bob of NJ, David Weller and Betsy of Laconia, NH, a sister-in-law Mary Weller of Milford, a brother-in-law Peter Newman of Warner, NH, and many nieces and nephews, she is also predeceased by a sister Marjorie Newman and a brother Donald H. Weller. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 am directly in Our Lady of Peace Church, 230 Park Blvd., Stratford, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may call Friday (TODAY) from 4 pm to 8 pm in the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull.
