Obituary

Keira Noelle Sullivan, age 5, was granted her angel's wings on Tuesday, May 20, 2014. Born on Dec 22, 2008 to Beth and Brendan Sullivan, Keira passed away after a brave battle with Walker-Warburg Syndrome. Her final hours were spent in the arms of her parents and surrounded by family and friends at Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital in New Haven. She is survived by her parents Beth and Brendan Sullivan of Stratford; her brothers, Aidan, Liam and Colin; sisters, Katelynn and Brenna; and grandparents, Eugene and Kathleen Lyddy Sullivan and Donna Wing of Stratford. Keira is also survived by her aunts and uncles Madeleine Rumstay, Shalisha Roberts and Andrew Jimenez, Kathryn Sullivan, and Michael Sullivan of Stratford; Patrick Sullivan of Shelton; Bonnie and Tony Stoll of Seymour; Charles Sullivan of Springfield, Mass.; Betsy and Michael McCarthy of Tyngsboro, Mass.; and Marybeth and Vincent Dimaggio of Boston, Mass., as well as many cousins. She is predeceased by her sister and fellow Walker-Warburg Syndrome warrior Ava, her grandfather Richard Cowles, and cousin Andrew Jimenez, Jr. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9:15 a.m., from the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull and at 10:30a.m., in St. James Church, 2110 Main Street, Stratford with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in St. Michael's Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
