Kenneth M. Durwin, age 76 of Trumbull, beloved husband of Maryanne Sadler Durwin, passed away, Wednesday, August 10, 2016 in St. Vincent's Medical Center. Kenneth was born on June 16, 1940 in Bridgeport, son of the late Mitchell and Anna Maco Durwin and was a Trumbull resident for forty-two years. He was a transportation analysist for Olin Chemical Company, and a member of the Tashua Knolls Men's Golf Club. Kenneth spent many summers as lifeguard at Seaside Park with his older brother Bob. Survivors in addition to his devoted wife include his children Susan Bartsch and husband Eric of Trumbull, Michael K. Durwin and wife Cheryl of Hamden and Laura Sevc and husband George of Monroe, seven grandchildren Alyssa, Kendra, and Luke Bartsch, Mark and Andrea Durwin, Hunter and Trever Sevc, a sister Kathy Damilowski and husband Mark of North Haven, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers Robert and James Durwin. Friends may call Saturday from 3p.m. to 6:00p.m., in the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull, with a prayer service taking place Saturday at 5:30p.m. In lieu of flowers contribution may be made in Kenneth's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
