Kevin Patrick Bosse passed away peacefully at his home in Black Rock on Monday, July 25, 2016. Kevin was born on April 20, 1956 in Bridgeport, son of the late Patrick F. and Maura Murray Bosse. Kevin attended St. Joseph High School in Trumbull. He graduated from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield and was employed for many years at Pitney Bowes as an Accounting Analyst. An avid runner, Kevin spent many weekends competing in local races. He ran a number of marathons, but one of his proudest accomplishments was completing the Boston Marathon. He had a passion for history and his bookshelves were overflowing with biographies of presidents and books of historical figures and events. He was a Trivial Pursuit master and looked forward to his family's annual Thanksgiving Day competitions. A lover of sports, Kevin was a lifelong New York Mets and Jets fan. Kevin will be remembered for his infectious laugh, good-natured disposition, and fun loving spirit. He showed a genuine interest in the lives of those around him. He loved his family and friends unconditionally and was a proud uncle to his many nieces and nephews. One of Kevin's favorite days was St. Patrick's Day and he looked forward each year to celebrating with family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew him. Kevin is survived by his brothers and sisters; Patricia Douglas and her husband Richard of Trumbull, Brian Bosse of Stratford, Paul Bosse and his wife Chris of Trumbull, Maura Peterson and her husband William of Wellesley Hills, MA, his twin sister Kathleen Morton of Stratford, and Patrick Bosse and his wife Caitlin of Fairfield. Kevin is also survived by his nieces and nephews that he loved dearly; Richard and Patrick Douglas, Kara Douglas Zarrelli, Amy Bosse Urey, Meghan, Alyson and Kristen Bosse, Jeffrey and Maura Peterson, Mary Kate Morton, and Catherine and Maura Bosse. In addition, Kevin leaves behind several great nieces and nephews, cousins, and many loyal friends that he remained close to his entire life. There will be a gathering of his family and friends on Saturday, August 6th at the Redgate-Hennessey Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull from 9:00 to 10:15 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Grace Church, 497 Second Hill Lane, Stratford at 11:00 am.
