Laura M. Hoefelt, age 75, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of Henry J. Hoefelt, passed away Saturday October 10, 2015, at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Laura was born in Superior, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Sylvester and Charlene LaVierge Heinen and has lived in Bridgeport since 1972. She retired as a telephone operator for St. Vincent's Medical Center after twenty-six years of service. In addition to her husband she is survived by her loving son, Henry "Big Jim" Hoefelt and his partner Christine Deal of Waterbury and one niece. Laura also leaves her canine son Jake. She was predeceased by her brother Dennis Heinen. Friends may call Wednesday, from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., at the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull, with a service to be conducted at 6:30 p.m., by the Rev. Alex Joseph, officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
